Considered by many to be one of the best vintages in decades. A cold but dry winter was followed by a nice spring and a warm but not terribly hot summer. Overall, beautiful warm temperatures through the entire season produced fully ripe and concentrated grapes, with no surprises or kinks that could have impacted quality. Harvest progressed at a steady, even pace and we were able to exercise patience in our picks. The wines show tremendous power and great balance, proving to be some the best Paso Robles has produced.
